As we age, we start developing lines/wrinkles on our face. Although, the timing and severity of those lines can differ between individuals, lifestyle and genetics can have a huge impact on how strongly they develop with time.
On average, wrinkles start to develop in late 20’s and gradually deepen with time, eventually leading to what we call ‘Static lines’. There are various treatment options to help soften the appearance of lines, many of which are non- invasive skin treatments such as; chemical peels, micro needling, skin boosters, Profhilo etc. Often these treatments work best when the lines/wrinkles are not quite strong.
That being said, in some cases following a face to face consultation, you may be suitable for Anti- wrinkle treatment using prescribed muscle relaxing injection.
What is a Botox ®
treatment?This treatment involves using a prescribed muscle-relaxing toxin called ‘Botulinum toxin A’. The toxin is injected in smaller amounts across the area being treated.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
Following your session, in about 10-14 days post-treatment the toxin will have achieved its full effect preventing the muscle from contracting and thereby significantly improving lines.
It lasts about 3-4 months long. And, we recommend having repeated sessions three months after your last treatment.

This prescription-only neurotoxin should only be administered by medically trained individuals that have completed their level 7 Diploma Ofqual-regulated, VTCT accredited, postgraduate-level medical aesthetics qualification.
So in the event of something going wrong, they can manage any complications. Don’t take risks with your face, and please don’t ask us to correct or manage complications.
Whilst a loophole in the law allows anyone to administer neurotoxins, the Health Care Act 2022 was passed in April 2022.
This gives the UK Government power to introduce a licencing scheme to regulate premises and practitioners who offer aesthetic procedures. (Which is happening and long overdue).

When to resume usual activities?
We recommend that you do not exercise or schedule a treatment where you’re required to touch or lay on the treatment area such as a facial, massage or haircut for 24 hrs post-treatment.
Avoid extreme temperature in any form for the next 24-48hrs. Full aftercare will be provided before the treatment.

NEFERTITI NECK LIFT
This procedure involves placing multiple injections of botulinum toxin both horizontally along the jawline and vertically down the side of the neck along with the platysma band muscles. Relaxing muscles in this area results in the improved definition of the jawline, and and upward lifting effect in the neck.
Treatment effect begins working within 1-3 days, with optimum results around 10-14 days.
Your treatment ought to last for approximately 3-4 months. Most patients, expect to have a smoother appearance, and an improvement of the lines and superficial wrinkles. When the effects start wearing off, you will notice a gradual fading.
